“E penso a te” by Lucio Battisti, from 1972, is a heartbreaking story of solitude in which someone to love would be the only escape from the daily routine.
SERENA covered and rearranged the song adding new elements inspired by synth pop and italo disco. But to make the song really "hers", she introduced samples of rain, fast cars, stomps and footsteps of people in a hurry, because - after all - there's no that big of a difference between London life in 2019 and Milan in 1972.
